Günter Lierschof – who worked with Joseph Beuys on the Hamburg ‘Spülfelder’ project – joins the Social Sculpture Lab to share his in depth exploration of the relationship Joseph Beuys and system-theorist Niklaus Luhmann.

Günter Lierschof studied with F.E. Walther, Hilla Becher, Joseph Beuys, and Bazon Brock at the
at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Hamburg/ founded the branch of FIU in Hamburg/ commissioned by Beuys to prepare the planting of the rinsing fields in Hamburg/ Art Teacher at the Bischöfliches Gymnasium in Schwaz in Tyrol/ founded the Philosophicum there.

Günter Lierschof studierte bei F.E. Walther, Hilla Becher, Joseph Beuys und Bazon Brock an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Hamburg/ gründete die Außenstelle der FIU in Hamburg/ bereitete im Auftrag von Beuys die Bepflanzung der Spülfelder in Hamburg vor/ Kunstlehrer am Bischöflichen Gymnasium in Schwaz in Tirol/ gründete dort das Philosophicum.
